In my second year of my bachelor studies I have participated the committee of education from the faculty. Here I presented the bachelor of Industrial Design Engineering. Together with other student and teacher members we discussed how to improve the education and gave advices to the board of education.
Puyo, Ecuador
During my stay in Ecuador I have spent one month in the jungle close to Puyo to work at the ecologic centre Zanja Arajuno. Here we took care of the rescued animals and of the place as a whole. It made me realize even more how important the nature is, especially when I saw the ecologic disasters closeby.
Quito, Ecuador
The reason I went to Ecuador was to work at the day care Ñeque y más Ñeque, a place in one of the poorest neighbourhoods of Quito where children go to after school to keep them from hanging out on the streets. This experience was probably the hardest but the most valuable one. I helped them with their homework, taught them some English and most importantly: had fun with them!
