ABOUT

My name is Sam and I am a third year student at the TU Delft. I study Industrial Design Engineering which I really enjoy because of its great diversity. Every time this career keeps surprising me: design is literally everywhere around us and it is amazing to be a part of that!

 

My main interests are Design for Sustainability and Design for Social Innovation, because I hope my future projects will be meaningful to the world around me. This way I can express my involvement in the society. Because of being goal orientated I make sure that I, together with my team members, work efficiently and deliver good results. I set high standards for the work I deliver and try get the most out of the projects I do. The bigger the challenge, the more motivated I am

I am international orientated and in the future I hope to be designing for multinational companies or one day have my own company.. I love to discover more of the world and get to know other cultures, this is also why I was studying one semester in Medellín, Colombia.

 

During my studies I also participate the Bachelor Honours Program at the TU Delft, I am enjoying this very much because it gives me the possibility to deepen into specific design subjects but also because it broadens my interdisciplinary knowledge.

 

In my leisure time my favorite things to do are traveling, making drawings, cooking and dancing salsa.
